The change to the drawing at our meetings is working quite well. In January one step was added to the normal drawing a name tag from the spittoon and award the cash "pot" to the named Rotarian if present. That Rotarian would then have to draw the Queen of Hearts from a deck of cards to be awarded the cash pot.
Now, one more slight change ... if the Rotarian whose name is drawn from the spittoon is not present, then another name tag will be drawn until the named Rotarian is present.
So far the Queen of Hearts has not been drawn and the pot for the meeting on February 6, will be over $20.
