These virtual meetings are proving to be very popular for Gary Rotary. At our most recent meeting on November 5, we had 18 participants. They were, new member Anthony Titus, president Natalie Johnson, Dick Hagelberg, Warren Johnson, Eric Tonk, Gene Ayers, Mark Stern, Jim Huson, Dorreen Carey, Shirley Caylor, Wendell Carey, Joyce Davis, Patrick Schubert, Paul Orner, Don Parker, George Rogge, Jack Tonk, and District Governor John Frischie. Certainly meeting in person may be preferable, but zooming is better than not meeting at all. President Natalie announced that we are beginning discussions with the Gary YWCA regarding a fund raising effort in recognition of both their and our 100th anniversary. District Governor John Frischie encouraged our participation in the District 6540 ZOOM Rotary Foundation Gala on November 12, 2020. Speakers include Rotary International President Holger Knaack and Rotary Foundation Trustee Brenda Cressey.
