These meetings via ZOOM may become the preferred way of meeting. Gary Rotary has conducted three such meetings. The meeting on May7, attracted 18 members; the meeting on May 21, had 14 Gary Rotary members, three District 6540 officials, and a member of the Board of Directors of Rotary International participate. Wow!!! And if that isn't enough $5 Happy Bucks for the Rotary Foundation were pledged by George Rogge, Joyce Davis, Warren Johnson, Mike Doyne, Dick Hagelberg, Dorreen Carey, Pat Schubert, Gene Ayers, and Natalie Johnson. DOUBLE WOW!!!!
Participants in our meeting on June 4, were Wendell Carey, Dorreen Carey, Joyce Davis, Shirley Caylor, Gene Ayers, George Rogge, Don Parker, Patrick Schubert, Mike Doyne, Theresa Knipe, Warren Johnson, and Jack Tonk. Former member Denise Dillard also joined in and pledge to renew her membership in Gary Rotary.
